Chom Nan Chalermprakiat Park is situated on the bank of the Nan river in Nai Muang Sub-district, Muang Phitsanulok District. It is used for major provincial events throughout the whole year i.e. Loy Krathong Festival, Food Fairs and Phitsanulok Countdown at the end of December. The activities are mainly food stalls for locals and foreigners to taste and buy as well as watch the fireworks displays, junior music bands, professional music artists and cultural shows on the Suan Chom Nan Park Stage. There are also exhibitions from both the government and private sectors. In the mornings, there are merit making ceremonies, alms giving in the form of dried foods and provisions to earn merit for the population of Phitsanulok on New Year’s Day.
